Robert Smith Landscaping offer Garden Design services throughout the Cotswolds region. They requested new website copy which reflected the more upmarket client base, consisting of many large country residences and stately homes, whilst not discouraging clients with smaller project requirements.

The Newquay Lodge Hotel is a bed and breakfast hotel in Whitley Bay, a small coastal town near Newcastle upon Tyne. They approached me to create some fresh web copy which was simple but informative, and to encourage prospective visitors to book a stay.

I was asked to produce copy for Complete Building Services , a local building company based in North Shields. They asked for brief, to-the-point copy which conveyed their friendly and efficient service whilst highlighting their core services.

I was asked to re-write a large amount of copy for an industrial material handling company. The copy was highly technical and specific, requiring industry research in addition to extensive keyword research to achieve the best results for an ongoing SEO campaign.

I submitted over 40 entries about various British garden, woodland and wetland birds, for a book entitled “British Birds: Focus On”, published by Igloo Books Limited (ISBN 0857342525). I also produced several extended pieces related to rare species, and how to provide for garden birds.

A New Media Business Solutions company, providing services such as Web Design & Development, Graphic Design and Online Marketing, requested new copy for their website. Aside from creating fresh, engaging copy for key pages such as the Home, About and Services pages, I also produced scripts for Video Introductions, designed to help visitors connect with the website.

Rye Hill Farm offer Self Catering and Bed & Breakfast accommodation on a working farm. With an established local presence, they asked me to help them achieve top search engine rankings which would generate exposure on a national level, for keywords such as 'self catering cottages Northumberland'.

Locums 4 Trusts are a medical recruitment agency offering NHS locum jobs to locum doctors. They asked me to write SEO-friendly articles for their site, as well as ensure they were performing well in search engines using onsite and offsite SEO practices including optimising their existing web copy and link building.

A personalised gifts company asked me to re-write their website content with SEO in mind. The result was 15 pages of perfectly-optimised copy which is already seeing results in search engine rankings.
